Jo is nominated for the 2011 Norwegian Booksellers’ Prize, awarded by the Norwegian Booksellers Association, for his latest Harry Hole novel Phantom. The winner will be announced on November 29th.

The Norwegian hit movie Hodejegerne, based on Jo’s novel Headhunters, premiered in Denmark this weekend. The film instantly topped the box office chart over the opening weekend. Hodejegerne is the strongest opening of a Norwegian movie in Danish cinemas, ever.
