Books to Die For, John Connolly’s and Declan Burke’s anthology where Jo Nesbø among other crime and thriller authors around the world have with personal essays come together to create a great guide for crime and mystery lovers, has been awarded the 2013 Agatha Award for ‘Best Non-Fiction’
Headhunters, the movie adaptation of Jo Nesbø’s stand alone thriller, was awarded ‘Best Thriller’ at the Empire Awards in London yesterday. Nominated in the same category were Skyfall, Argo, The Raid and Zero Dark Thirty.

Jo Nesbø’s The Leopard, the eighth installment in the Harry Hole series, is No. 1 on the Icelandic bestseller list for the fourth consecutive week and is also No. 2 on the Bestsellers of the Year-list after only 5 weeks on the market.
Jo Nesbø’s stand-alone novel Headhunters has been on the bestseller lists around Europe ever since it was first published in 2008. Last week, the novel was published in Italy and went straight to No. 4 on the official Italian bestseller list.
Up and comer Lorenza Izzo has landed a female lead opposite John Stamos in NBC‘s drama pilot I Am Victor, the project based on an upcoming novel by Jo Nesbø. Also in the cast is McKaley Miller.

Jo Nesbø will be awarded this year’s Peer Gynt Prize for his international success and for thus helping to put Norway on the world map of international literature. “I am very happy and honored to receive the award as the year’s Peer Gynt” says Jo Nesbø. The Prize Award Ceremony is held at the Peer Gynt Festival in August.
For the second consecutive year Jo Nesbø is nominated for the Peer Gynt Prize, a Norwegian honor award presented to a person or institution that has achieved distinction in society, and also contributed to improving Norway’s international reputation. The recipient is chosen by the Norwegian Parliament.
Phantom, the ninth installment in the Harry Hole series, is No. 1 on the official paperback list in Sweden for the second consecutive month.
NBC has given a pilot order to I Am Victor, the legal drama based on Jo Nesbø’s forthcoming book, from former House executive producer Katie Jacobs. Written by Mark Goffman, the project has some of House’s DNA as it is described as “House as a divorce attorney”.
